Miracast worked ok but the video was very jumpy, apparently it can now be done over the Ethernet �� The procedure looks complicated, as WiFi is needed for initial identification, be good if their was a tutorial on this, assuming there would be enough need. Your son can access it with a simple web browser or use the Plex app from their site Will Plex, allow Video Sync between myself and my son ? And allow this to be streamed to my TV ? Trouble is, if this uses WiFi, think the USB WiFi dongle I have is not adequate, as it stuttered when using the LG screen share. With that setup properly you can 'share' any video you have in your Plex library. Unless I can find a screen share over Ethernet �� If I can’t get it to work then will just have to watch video individually, not synced, but should be ok, as we have headset comms, be handy if one of us needs to pause the video. Tried Miracast with the LG, but my Wifi USB dongle not very powerful, as the video is very jerky on the TV. All I need to do now is share the PC screen with the Lounge TV, so my Wife can watch also, I will listen to the video audio through the headset and be able to talk to my son and my Wife will listen through the TV speaker. We both have identical copies of the video, which we watch simultaneously using SyncPlay, and talk using headsets with Discord. My ‘project’ is for my Wife & I to watch video with my Son who lives somewhere else. Actually I worded the OP wrong, what I need to do is screen share.I used the LG offering for streaming Video to my TV via Ethernet, with excellent results, but this is not what I need, sorry for the misdirection.
